“55+” describes a legally age-qualified housing community. “Low-maintenance” describes services or home design and does not necessarily mean age-restricted. Ask for the current declaration, bylaws, and HOA service list.
02What should I ask an HOA?
Confirm monthly dues, included services, insurance responsibilities, reserves, assessments, rental rules, pet rules, exterior approvals, and exactly who handles roofs, driveways, lawns, and snow.
03Should I sell before I buy?
